【It用法汇总】

一、作形式主语

It作形式主语，主要是为了避免“头重脚轻”畸形句子结构，让句子结构更加匀称美观，表达意义更加清晰！后面的动词不定式短语或者从句乃是真正的主语。

1.It + is/was + adj + for/of sb to do sth.

对某人来说，做某事是…样的。

注意：该句型中，如果形容词含有褒义或贬义，那么，后面的介词要用of；除此之外的情况用for，意为“对…来说”。

(1) It is quite difficult for her to make up her mind. 她很难下定决心。

(2) It is very kind of you come to help me with my English.

2.It takes / took / will take + sb＋时间段＋ to do sth 某人做某事花了…时间。

注意：该句型中，动词后的人称代词要用“宾格”，后面要用动词不定式短语！

(1) It took me four hours to finish my homework last Sunday. 上个星期天，我花了四个小时完成家庭作业。

(2) It will take us two days to complete this project. 完成这个项目还要花两天。

3.It is up to sb to do sth. 由某人决定做…。

该句型中的动词不定式短语有时可以省略。

(1) It is up to you. 由你决定。

(2) It is up to him to make the final choice.

该由他来做最后的选择了！

4.It looks/seems/happens that (as if)…：表“似乎… ”。

(1) It seems that your proposals are good for his study.

似乎你的建议对他的学习有帮助。

(2) It seems to me that she will not come to the birthday party.

依我看，她不会来参加派对。

(3) It seems as if he did not see me.

似乎他没有看见我。

注意：

(1) It seems that…：从句用陈述语气。

(2) It seems as if …：从句用虚拟语气。

5.It is said/believed/reported/hoped/ well-known that从句：表示“据说/人们相信/据报道/人们希望/众所周知/建议…”。

(1) It's said that he has already made the final decision.

据说，他已经做出了最后的决定。

6.It turned/turns out that…：结果是…

(1) It turned out that he was innocent.

结果表明，他是无辜的。

二、作形式宾语

(1) I find it very difficult to learn English well. 我发现学好英语很难。

(2) She thinks it her duty to teach students well. 她认为教好孩子们是她的职责。

三、用于指“除了人以外的事物或动物”。

(1) I have a pet cat. It is brown. 我有一只宠物猫，它是棕色的。

四、用于指“性别不明的婴儿”或只听见声音而没看见的人”。

(1) There is some knock on the door. It must be your new friend.

有敲门声，一定是你的新朋友。

五、指“时间、距离、价值、天气、温度”等自然现象。

(1) It is too late for you to go to school.

这个时候上学太晚了。

(2) It is raining in Chengdu this week.

成都这周一直在下雨。

六、用于强调句型中

It+is/was＋被强调部分＋that/who＋其他

(1) It was a dog that she lost last week.

(2) It is Professor Yu who teaches us Chinese culture on Saturdays. 正是余教授每周六教我们中国文化。

(3) It is us whom Professor Yu teaches Chinese culture on Saturdays.

每周六正是余教授给我们教授中国文化。

(4) It is on Saturdays that Professor Yu teaches us Chinese culture.

余教授正是在每周六教授我们中国文化。

注意：被强调部分指“人”时，用who/whom，被强调部分指物时用that。

七、It 构成的常见短语：

1.It's time to do sth: 做某事的时间到了。

2.It is time for sth：…的时间到了。

3.make it：成功、说定、赶上

4.Take it easy. 不要慌。

5.Believe it or not. 信不信由你。

6.It all depends. 那得看情况，还没定。

7.It doesn't matter. 没关系。

8.Forget it. 算了吧，别提了。

9.worth it. 值得做。

10.It's up to sb. 由某人负责/决定。
